Welcome to UEPE Equideoculture !! Created over 60 years, the unit aims to contribute to Teaching, Research and Extension, providing the academic community with a good infrastructure and a knowledge diffusing source. The UEPE has a stock of Equines, Asininos and Muares divided between three breeds (Breton, Mangalarga and Pêga), created in their majority in semi extensive system. In addition to the various routine activities, research projects are developed in the areas of nutrition, breeding, breeding, parasitology, among others. Courses of various disciplines, courses, lectures, field days are taught in the unit, being of great relevance to students and society. We also have a team of professors, graduate students, undergraduate students, employees and trainees, as well as the Group of Studies in Equideoculture. ”
