On June 12, Professor of Animal Science Melissa Hannas participated in The 2nd Amino Acid Forum in Animal Nutrition. The event was held in China and brought together professors and researchers from different continents who spoke to pork, poultry and fish farming professionals from Asia.

The presentation of the professor was named: BR local CR Reduction Interest and Practical Case in Feed Industry, where information was presented on the update of nutritional requirements of poultry and pigs according to the Brazilian Tables of Food Composition and Nutritional Requirements for poultry and swine Published in 2017, aspects related to the concepts of feed formulation in Brazil with use of crystalline amino acids and reduced levels of crude protein.
